Term 4 courses and events 2011 - Monday
ST-01 – S.T.I.R. Strength Training in Rushworth
Resistance exercises using a variety of equipment. New students are required to provide a Medical Certificate.
Dates: 11 weeks starts 10th October
Times: 9am – 10am
Cost: $3 per session
ST-03 – T’ai Chi
Ancient form of gentle exercise with many health benefits. Suitable for men and women of all ages.
Dates: 11 weeks starts 10th October
Times: 11am – 12 noon

MS-01 - Men’s Shed
Come along and join in the varous activities or drop in just for a yarn and a cuppa with the blokes. ease wear appropriate workshop clothing and footwear, and make sure you bring along your sense of humour!Dates: 11 weeks starts 10th October

Come and join a group of extremely creative and clever ladies – make something very special for yourself, a family member or friend.

Know absolutely nothing about computers? Don’t like the classroom environment? One-on-One training sessions are now available tailored to your own requirements.

Here’s an afternoon where you can bring any form of Art or Craft to do. Come & have a cuppa, knit, sew, embroider, paint, new members most welcome. Some weeks special workshops to tackle a new method or interest.

QF-03 Basics Office Skills
Do you want to go back out to work but haven't a clue what to do in an office? Been out of the workplace for years and apprehensive about applying for a job again? Well this comprehensive course is for you. Learn basic office management and telephone skills, customer service and office etiquette as well as basic computer programs & skills to manage work on a day to day basis.

Powerpoint is a presentation software program that is part of the Microsoft Office suite. It is an extremely versatile program and has heaps of uses for everyone.

SE-11 Soup for Starters
learn all the basics in making beautiful, healthy and nutritious home made soups. Each week will be a different menu and after cooking the soup, you will get to eat your efforts for lunch with yummy bread rolls - all included in the price for the 4 weeks.

MS-05 Welding Basics
Learning some welding skills can be a fantastic asset to any householder – male or female. This is always one of our most popular courses, so join in and learn all the basics. Whether its house maintenance or garden ornaments – this course will be a great asset!

AC-09 Mosaics Workshop
Mosaics are beautiful and versatile. Mosaic is the art of creating images or designs with small pieces of coloured glass or other materials. It may be a technique of decorative art, an aspect of interior decoration or of cultural and spiritual significance as in a cathereral. Only 5 places available!
