The Term 1 Program, beginning Monday February 1 and running for eight weeks, is here, flled with brand new and established courses for you to participate in!  Drop in for a cuppa at the Rushworth Community House and be part of our great community!  We would love to see you!

Monday

Wild Women 019Patchwork
Come and join a group of extremely creative and clever ladies - make something very special.
Dates:   8 wks starting 1st Feb
Times:  1pm - 3.30pm

Men’s Strength Training
Help to get fit, strengthens the muscles & helps balance. Relieves joint pain and increases suppleness. New participants are required to provide Medical Certificate.

T’ai Chi
Ancient form of gentle exercise with many health benefits. Suitable for all ages.

Strength Training
Held at both Colbinabbin & Rushworth.  New participants are required to provide Medical Certificate.

Twilight Art group
Self-help group ~ sharing and helping each other - all levels & forms of art are welcome.

Volunteers are a valuable part of our community and are crutial to keeping RCH running smoothly.
If you have a few hours to spare please consider doing our training and joining our team. Volunteers can do free computer on-the-job training as well as get 10% discount on further courses at Rushworth Community House.

In a galaxy far far away… See the beauty of our skies at night.  Participate in a magical night of stars & galaxies.

Early bookings are essential.  First in with full payment will secure your place in this much sought after night. Maximum of 8 people per night.

Knitting basics

Have you always wanted to learn to knit and never got around to it?  Here’s the chance to start right now.

Faux finishes for the home

If you like to decorate objects / walls with a bit of fair - then this fun course is for you.

Basic cheesemaking

Ever wanted to make your own cheese? Well this is a great chance to have a go!. Transport from Rushworth to Nathalia and back is included. in the price.

Please bring an Apron, and a container to take home approx 500gr of cheese.  Bring your own lunch.   Max number of partici-pants is 12, so make your payment  early to secure your place on the bus.

First Aid

To keep your certificate current - you need to do re-accreditation every 12 months.  For those people who have obtained their First Aid certificate with other organisations -  you will need to produce your existing certifcate to the instructor on the day for acknowledgement of skills before re-accreditation is processed.
