MENTAL HEALTH FIRST AID (FREE)* |

As the drought continues across our district, Campaspe Primary Care Partnership is offering a FREE training course to assist people to provide support for people who are experiencing extreme worry, stress, crisis, anxiety and the early stages of mental health problems. This training teaches people how to provide initial support—it looks at:- · How to recognise the symptoms · The possible causes or risk factors · How to give appropriate initial help and support · How to take appropriate action if a crisis situation arises This course is a 12 hour course run over two days. Participants receive a course manual and also a certificate at the completion of the course. RESPONSIBLE SERVING OF ALCOHOL |

This is the basic requirement to work in the hospitality industry or in a club or organisation where alcohol is served. Thursday 29 November 6.30 to 9.30 pm at Rushworth Community House. Fee: $60 Tutor: John Lock Remember to bring your glasses if you need them as there is a requirement to do a test at the end of the night.
